Boerds or Tapsilog??

Starting a new life here in De La Salle University - Dasmarinas, i met this guys ( my classmates ) specifically Michael Andre John Lacadin a.k.a Financer ( Drums), John Rainier Atienza a.k.a Sparco ( Rhythms), Carl Rem Castro a.k.a Lakas Tama (Lead Guitar), Edison Pelias a.k.a Son (Bass). this guys were my band mates and not being proud of it, I Maxelle Lampa a.k.a Adik as the vocalist, not a joke, ok ?

Putting up a band is a good way of expressing your thoughts and feelings, the way you sing, the way you strum or pluck the guitar. It is just the passion on how you manipulate the instruments to put life on the lyrics. The soul you inside you, speaks by means of the songs that you sing and the music that you hear. It eases me when i have a problem, just express it, and that's it.

This band was just simply, a jamming. When, Michael, wants to put up a band. We were, practicing songs which we knew that is for us. We play punk rock,reviving classical songs and revising it to punk rock.

The problem is we still don't have yet a name for our band. We thought of "Boerds" because "bords" is our nicknames or shall we say, we call each other "bords",a sign of manhood and friendship. With the letter "e" on "Boerds", is because, of birds. Simply birds, for a man, we knew what it means.

Then, another name is "Tapsilog", because, every lunch break, we eat at B.B Tapsihan, a canteen outside La Salle, we order Tapsilog, everyday, in a straight week. Tapa-Sinangag-Itlog. That's why we thought of this. "Tapsilog"??

Still thingking of a name for our band. Hope we have already. because, we are joining in the concert in our school, and in battle of the bands.
